It's often said that one good turn deserves another (if someone does you a favour, you should take the chance to repay it).

This was what played out when Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State celebrated his re-election victory with the three oldwomen and Edo teachers in an event organized by the State Universal Basic Education Board(SUBEB) and Godwin Obaseki/Philip Shaibu Support Group in celebration of the governor's triumph in the September 19, 2020 Governorship Election.

The Governor in his remarks expressed satisfaction with the role played by the three women and Edo teachers in ensuring that he was re-elected for a second term in office.

Governor Godwin Obaseki also assured the teachers that his administration will continue to invest in the education of Children in the State and also continue with the giant strides achieved in his first tenure.

Governor Godwin Obaseki was later presented with a portrait of the Visually Impaired SS3 student who voted for him and the 103 years old woman who insisted that her son must carry her on his back to vote for Governor Godwin Obaseki on the day of the election.
