Reactions As Former Gov Okorocha Arrested By The Police In Imo, See What He Did



It would be recalled that the Imo State Government had reportedly taken possession of an estate owned by the wife of the former governor, Rochas Okorocha.


Prior to now, the wife of the former governor was the owner of the property, Royal Palm Estate, which is situated along Akachi road in Owerri.

The Imo state government led by governor Hope Uzodinma took over the the huge estate with sprawling mansions

In the wake of this, the former Governor of Imo state who is now a Senator representing Imo West Senatorial district, Rochas Okorocha, led his loyalists to break into the sealed Royal Palm Estate alleged to be owned by his wife, Nkechi.

According to Vanguard, the incident occurred at 17: 20 pm on Sunday, 21st February 2021 along Akchi road in Owerri.

Further reports have it that then incident also led to the damaging of vehicles and injuring persons in which the former governor was arrested.

Reports now have it that sources at the Police headquarters said Rochas Okorocha would be charged to court tomorrow
