Also recall that, some students were kidnapped by gunmen in Kagara days ago, and Federal Government was rumoured to be negotiating with the kidnappers probably after Sheikh Gumi reportedly visited some bandits in the border area Rafi LGA in Niger and Birnin Gwari in Kaduna.

However, David Oluwafemi Adewumi Fani Kayode, a Nigerian poet, lawyer, and politician has taken to his Twitter page to speak against Nigerian Government alleged Idea to negotiate with the abductors of the Kagara kidnapped victims.

He wrote in his tweet "Helicopter gun ships raining gullets down the forests of Orlu but Fed. Govt. officials are negotiating with those in the north and giving them money to purchase more weapons. This is unacceptable & it will lead to the break up of Nigeria if it does not stop! God is not mocked"
