The liver is a vital organ in the body that help in regulating most chemical levels in the blood and excretes a product called bile. This helps carry away waste products from the liver. All the blood leaving the stomach and intestines passes through the liver.

1. Smoking

Smoking also enhances the production chemicals that cause even more inflammation and damage to liver cells. 

2. Red meat

Research have shown that people who eat high amount of red meat have a high risk of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and more than a 50 percent higher risk of developing insulin resistance. Try to limit your red meat intake to avoid liver disease.

3. Alcohol

If you have chronic liver disease, even little amounts of alcohol can make your liver disease to degenerate. People with alcohol-related liver disease and those with cirrhosis from any cause should limit their consumption of alcohol completely.

4. Sugar

Too much intake of sugar cause damage to your liver. Too much refined sugar makes a fatty buildup that can cause liver disease. For this reason you should endeavour to limit foods with high amount of sugar.
