Evelyn Joshua, wife of the founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations, Temitope Balogun Joshua, has broken the silence since the news of her husband’s death made rounds reports Punch Newspaper.

Evelyn took to social media to express ocean-deep emotions over the loss of her husband.

2. Confusion As Atiku, Soludo’s Campaign Posters Surface In Abuja

The sudden appearance of the campaign posters bearing the picture of former vice president Atiku Abubakar and that of an erstwhile governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Charles Soludo, is currently generating controversy among members of the All Progressive Grand Alliance according to Punch newspaper.

Soludo is the favoured choice of the APGA leadership as candidate of the party in the Anambra Governorship election slated for November this year.

4.Rescind Twitter Ban, Catholic Bishop Appeals To FG

The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Umuahia, Most Rev. Lucius Ugorji, has appealed to the Federal Government to unban Twitter due to its socio-economic benefits to the country reports Daily Trust newspaper.

Ugorji made the appeal in a sermon at Mater Dei Cathedral, in Umuahia on Sunday.

He said that the nation’s economy would suffer a further slide as a result of the ban.

The Bishop further urged President Muhammadu Buhari to initiate measures to douse the tension in the country.

5.Popular Rivers pastor, Akinola, is dead

A popular cleric and General Superintendent of Redemption Ministries, Worldwide, Rev. Stephen Akinola has died.

Rev. Akinola was said to have undergone a kidney transplant sometime, though the cause of his death could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report.

It was gathered that many worshippers, including members of his congregation and residents, had thronged to the church which has its headquarters in Port Harcourt to mourn the famous cleric.
